They come to our supermarkets for the fabulous low prices and coupon deals. So what Weldon really needs to propose is outlawing coupons and sticking a compulsory markup on all supermarket goods. Then we won’t have to fight them in the supermarkets any longer. We might still have to worry about swap meets, fleamarkets, garage sales, and Wal-Mart, but the work of vigilance is eternal.
